Human behavior is strange

It is human nature to violate rules and do things that are prohibited. It is common for most people to park their vehicles at ‘no parking’ places. Thus, their vehicles not only cause obstruction to traffic but also cause road accidents. Parking of vehicles in no parking zones is a common problem in India.

Deliberately violating traffic signals and rules has become a habit of our people. Some drivers deliberately disregard traffic signals out of impatience or to save time. Some individuals engage in dangerous driving behavior and deliberately ignore traffic signals. Therefore, it has become necessary to emphasize that violation of traffic signals and rules is illegal and a threat to the safety of oneself as well as others. Education and awareness campaigns can play an important role in changing these attitudes. Similarly, another habit of common Indians is unnecessary honking of horns, especially where it is prohibited like near sensitive areas like hospitals, schools etc.

Using a pressure horn is even more dangerous. Similarly, misuse of loudspeakers is also common. It is considered a matter of pride for them to spread noise pollution. The use of loudspeakers in India is governed by local noise pollution control laws and guidelines. Loudspeakers are widely used during various festivals, rallies and cultural events, which sometimes gives rise to noise pollution concerns and controversies.

Therefore, it is important to be aware of local regulations and obtain the necessary permits when using loudspeakers for events. The Supreme Court has not completely banned the use of loudspeakers in religious events. However, the court issued guidelines to regulate the use of loudspeakers during religious festivals and celebrations to reduce noise pollution and maintain public order. Reducing noise pollution in all circumstances is extremely important for the well-being of individuals and ecosystems.
