A total of 350 voters from a 1200 member family will vote in Sonitpur Lok Sabha seat of Assam.
The first phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be held on 19 April. Now a family from Assam has come into limelight. The family of late Ron Bahadur Thapa is going to vote on April 19 along with around 350 voters at Phulguri Nepali Palm village in Assam’s Sonitpur district.
There are total 1200 members in the family of Ron Bahadur Thapa. Of these, about 350 members are going to vote. Ron Bahadur Thapa had five wives. He has 12 sons and 9 daughters. More than 150 of his grandchildren also survive. Members of this family will cast their votes in Sonitpur Lok Sabha constituency.
According to the agency, Til Bahadur Thapa, village head of Nepali Palm village and son of late Ron Bahadur, said that around 350 people in his family are eligible to vote. He further said that if all the children are counted then the total members of the family will be more than 1200.
