Lucknow Super Giants still have a long way to go in IPL 2024. In such a situation, they need their speed star Mayank Yadav, who should bowl at a speed of 150 km per hour continuously. Mayank Yadav came to bowl the fourth over of Gujarat Titans’ innings, but could bowl at a speed of more than 140 kmph only twice in his overs and walked off the field with the team physio. He gave 13 runs in this over.

Thanks to brilliant half-centuries from Yash Thakur (five wickets for 30 runs) and other bowlers, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated Gujarat Titans by 33 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Sunday. Rounder registered his third consecutive win by defeating Marcus Stoinis (58 runs) by runs. LSG also faced this small target with the help of the bowlers and after Stoinis’ half-century, Nicholas Pooran’s unbeaten 32-run innings scored 163 runs for five wickets.

Gujarat Titans made a good start by adding 54 runs for the first wicket between Shubman Gill (19 runs) and Sai Sudarshan (31 runs), but due to continuous fall of wickets, the team was reduced to 130 runs in 18.5 overs. Apart from these two, Rahul Tewatia scored 30 runs. For LSG, Yash Thakur took five wickets for 30 runs with one maiden in 3.5 overs, while Krunal Pandya took three wickets for just 11 runs in four overs. Ravi Bishnoi took one wicket after giving away eight runs in two overs by taking a brilliant catch on his own ball.
