SHOCKING: Woman’s hand ‘melts’ after hairdryer overheats; gets it amputated later

New Delhi: A woman lost her arm in a tragic incident after it melted off following a hairdryer accident. Mary Wilson passed out on her bedroom floor as she was drying her hair.

But 20 minutes later, she woke up to see one of her hands mangled. The US lady also had to immediately get it amputated as the accident caused severe nerve damage in her wrist and hand. Mary had been drying her hair before claiming that the device gave her an electric shock that caused her to pass out.

After passing out, the groomer spent 20 minutes with the dryer placed directly over her hand. The dryer did not have an automatic off system in place and because of that, the temperature continued to be high throughout. After the surgery to amputate her hand, she spent the next months wrapped up in bandages.
