BLACKPINK Members Create History By Becoming 1st Kpop Group To Have 400 Million Streams On Solo Songs
All the members are currently focusing on their individual careers and solo projects and have achieved a lot as well. Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie and Rose have created history by becoming the first Kpop group members to have 400 million Spotify streams on at least one solo track.
Lisa’s song ‘Money’ has crossed 400 million streams on Spotify, creating this record in 184 days. Jisoo made her much-awaited solo debut with her solo track ‘Flower’ which has finally crossed 400 million streams 354 days after its release. Rose’s song ‘On The Ground’ has also joined Lisa and Jisoo’s milestone. Jennie’s song ‘Solo’ crossed 400 million streams in three years and nine months.
On the work front, Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie have launched their individual labels for their solo activities. It was earlier rumoured that Rose will join Columbia Records but that does not seem to be the case anymore. According to South Korean news outlets, Rose will follow Lisa and Jennie’s footsteps.
Lisa will make her acting debut with the popular American series ‘The White Lotus’. Apart from Lisa, the show also stars Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Tayme Thapthimthong, Christian Friedel, Julian Kostov, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Natasha Rothwell, Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola.
Jennie was last seen in the variety show ‘Apartment 404’. She recently released her song ‘Slow Motion’ and made her acting debut with the American series ‘The Idol’. Jisoo will next star in the movie ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’ after starring in the kdrama ‘Snowdrop’. Rose is currently working on her next song and will reveal more details soon.
