England chess team manager Malcolm Paine described schoolgirl Bodhna as one of the most remarkable British chess talents he had ever seen.
Bodhana Sivanandan News In Hindi: Nine-year-old Indian-origin schoolgirl Bodhna Sivanandan is set to create chess history as she becomes the youngest player to represent England at international level in any sport.
Bodhna, from Harrow, north-west London, will be in the England women's team at the Chess Olympiad in Budapest, Hungary in September.
The other players in the team are above 20 years of age. Bodhna said in an interview to a private media house on Wednesday, “I came to know about this when my father told me after coming back from school yesterday. I was happy. I hope I will perform well and get another title.”
