Hezbollah Attacks Israel: Firing has intensified on the Lebanon-Israel border amid Israel’s military action on Gaza’s southern city of Rafah. Meanwhile, Hezbollah has claimed that it shot down an Israeli drone hovering over southern Lebanon. It also fired rockets at the Israeli military base. One person is reported dead in these attacks. Hezbollah said in a statement that its fighters attacked the Hermes 900 Kochav drone. It claimed that Israel has been targeting our citizens and their homes through such drones.
This action taken by Hezbollah has been confirmed by the Israeli army. The Israeli army said that a surface-to-air missile was fired at our drone in Lebanon, which got shot down there. The army said that the incident is being reviewed. The army informed that the drone that was shot down was Hermes 900 Kochav, which was a medium altitude and long capacity drone. This drone can carry four anti-tank guided missiles simultaneously.

On the other hand, Hezbollah said that its fighters also attacked the Israeli army base in Kiryat Shmona with Burkan rockets. They said that Burkan rockets can carry warheads weighing 300 kg to 500 kg. The Israeli army has also confirmed the rocket attack on the military base in Kiryat Shmona, although apart from this, not much information has been given by Israel. Israeli media reported the rocket attack on Kiryat Shmona and also released pictures of heavy damage to the infrastructure. It also said that there is no news of any casualties.
Tension continues in Israel-Lebanon since October 7
Tensions between Hezbollah and Israel have continued since a day after the Israel-Hamas war began on October 7. Hezbollah began attacking Israeli military posts on the Lebanon-Israel border. Since then, thousands of people have been displaced from the border areas on both sides of the Israel and Lebanon border. Israel is also ahead in terms of tanks. Netanyahu’s army has 2200 tanks, while Hamas-Hezbollah has only 757 tanks. Israel is also ahead in terms of IVF. They have 509 IVFs, while their opponents have 203. Hamas-Hezbollah is ahead of Israel in terms of armored tanks. They have 2132 armored tanks, while Israel has only 835. Most of these are deployed on the border.
