The cheapest agricultural land is in Korabar village of Budhmu. Its increased rate is Rs 1677 per decimal. Here residential land is Rs 3354 and commercial land is Rs 5900 per decimal. The most expensive land is in Bodeya Mauja of Kanke zone. Agricultural land is Rs 274811, residential land is Rs 549622 and commercial land is Rs 988807 per decimal. Similarly, the rate of land in other zones has been increased. Last time in 2022, there was an increase of up to 10 percent. The Deputy Commissioner has signed the new rate on Tuesday.

Registration of land and house will be done on only one day on 31st July at the current rate. New rates will be uploaded on 1st August. Registration of rural areas will start from 2nd August.

During registration, 7 percent of the price fixed by the government has to be paid as stamp and registration fee. Due to this increase, the stamp and registration fee will be more.
The minimum price is fixed every two years
The Land Revenue and Registration Department fixes the minimum price for the purchase and sale of land and houses every two years. Houses have been divided into three categories and land into four categories. Houses have been divided into kutcha, pucca and deluxe structures and land into agricultural, industrial, commercial and residential purposes.
